Rocklin Construction digs trenches for homeowners in Augusta, Evans, Grovetown, Appling and Waynesboro who are adding a utility line and don't want to dig it by hand. We trench with our mini skid steer, which fits into most backyards.
We dig the trench for an electrical line running a sub panel to your garage.
We trench for a new supply line to the back of your garage or the back of your house.
We trench for an internet line to an ADU or another building in the back of your property.

Our machine trenches up to 36 inches deep. The trench is about 4 inches wide. Tell us the depth your line needs when you request a quote.
We notify Georgia 811 before every trench. Each utility has two business days to mark its lines in the work area or report that it has none there.
Utilities mark their lines from the meter to the road, because that part is theirs. Lines past the meter, such as power to an outbuilding, are private and are not marked. Tell us about any private lines before we dig, because the property owner is responsible for them.
If a marked line runs within about 2 feet of the work area, we dig a small slot trench first to check its depth.
Anyone can lay out a private run. We trench for electrical contractors who mark the path for their line, and for homeowners who mark their own.

Coleeta Dixon, the owner, digs every trench herself. Our trenching services include the Georgia 811 notice, a written estimate you sign online, and a return visit for anything on the estimate we missed.
